Reminded Of Something True

Our pastor said this in a sermon a while back and it stuck with me. Too often I get in the mind set of wanting to go deeper, learn something new, be wowed but what was just explored. When in reality, a “simple” truth is exactly what my heart needs. Sometimes it’s the basic of elementary school answers that can really set our hearts ablaze. We just need to take a moment and sit in it. Take a moment and breathe it in. Take a moment and see that “simple” truth in new light or let it shine bright again.

Let it shine through the familiar and into the everlasting hope it provides.
