“Come let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.” - Psalm 95:1

Psalm 95 reminds us that God is worthy of our humble and obedient worship.  This Psalm is a call to our voices – our singing.  While there are many forms of worship, singing helps us reflect and speak our thoughts emotionally, getting to the heart of our relationship with the Lord.  We honor Him with our heartfelt joy and praise and He calls us to do so in community, gathering as one before Him.  ‘Let US sing for joy.’  A picture of what someday might look like. 

Worship is a time to not simply say and talk about God but to experience in Him and from Him.  Connecting to him in song, finding joy through heart and soul.  He created us for this connection.  May we be reminded that we are made to worship the Rock of salvation, our God of hope and promise.
