Six Notes Blog
Welcome to our Six Notes Blog. This is a place we’ll dive deeper into scripture and find guided prayers. We’ve put together spotify playlists, screensavers, and images to inspire and encourage. You can also find bible verses to reflect on, memorize and save. Our goal is to constantly connect right here with ways to deepen your faith and walk with Jesus.
There are many ways to connect with the Lord, get creative! God doesn’t care HOW you do it; He just desires you.
King David’s Response in Psalm 3:7
Here is a fun one for you this lovely Monday morning.
Some days you are just in an “odd” mood, like goofy odd. The other day was one of those days. I wasn’t feeling real deep and theological during by bible study time but man, was I going to try. I decided to do some digging into our new Psalm 3:3 sweatshirt that is coming out soon. It’s one of my favorite anthem verses so I was excited to write the devotional for it. It’s all about God giving David victory over his enemies and God’s protection in the midst of a dark time.
Well, read psalm 3:7 and remember my mood.
Are We A Judas - John 12:5
We often look and Judas and judge harshly. I mean he is kind of the villain, but we instead need to look at Judas and make sure we check our hearts. Do we have a heart of true devotion like Mary, not worried what others think? Or are we a Judas, with a skeptical soul and heart motivated by worldly desires.
Did Jesus Really Exist?
That was one of my first questions I asked years ago. Did Jesus really exist? And can I find something outside the New Testament that proved Jesus did indeed exist?
Yes.
Sometimes you don’t want to read a 10 minute, highly intelligent, uses big words blog post to see if there are non-Christian sources out there that prove that Jesus really did exist in history. We just was a simple answer until we are ready to dive deeper.

At His Feet - Like Mary
I don’t always have complete blog posts and devotions on my writer’s fingertips but just little thoughts and notes. For example, I love reading about Mary, as in the Mary of the Martha and Mary sisters, and the sister of Lazarus. Mary challenges me greatly because she’s often the very opposite of what tend to be. When we read about her, she is often just taking in life around her. She observes, listens and expresses herself deeply. It’s as if life slows down around her and she truly feels.
Best Marriage advice
We were on vacation and a great question was asked. What is the best marriage advice you’ve gotten? What a great “ice breaker” question! I had to really think on this and in a good way because we’ve been lucky enough to get some really great relationship advice.

Some of the deepest moments of my faith journey has been picking up a good read and letting the charcters inspire me. Christian Fiction or better yet Biblical fiction has a way of opening up our mind into what life MAY have been like back then.
