There are many ways to connect with the Lord, get creative! God doesn’t care HOW you do it; He just desires you.
Prayer to begin Lent and Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday ushers in the season of Lent. Lent is a 40 day period that leads up to Easter. It comes from the Old English word - lencten meaning “spring” This liturgical season coincides with springtime, calling to mind new life and growth.
Lent is meant to be a time of repentance. That’s not a feeling of shame but an awareness that sin separates us from God and of what it cost Him to be reunited with us. To start this season we give you these words to reflect and prayer to remember
Be Loved & Be Love
As we draw upon Valentine’s Day, let us remember how precious and perfect the love of our Savior is. And while our earthly relationships may fall short, He never will. And may we love others more and more like He loves us.
Pray This Instead
We serve an omnipresent God.
Will we ever truly understand the term omnipresent? We might know what it means but do we truly attribute the power, wonder and awe that is behind the word?
Be reminded of how awe inspiring it is that we serve a God that is Omnipresent and we get to connect with Him personally at any moment in time.
New Year, Same God
Each year we strive for changes, set goals, create intentions, try to be better. A new year can be invigorating or exhausting. Change can be fresh or intimidating. But maybe sometimes we need to let go and look to God to transform us, renew us. Maybe it’s less of what we do and more of who we look to.
Pray and meditate on this:
God vs. The Law - The Ladder Analogy
“Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,” - Romans 5:20
God vs. Law
In Romans 5 the Apostle Paul is writing about the need for the law to show where sin is, the need to know right and wrong. He also shares with us how sin came to be and that is through Adam. But we now have Jesus and with Jesus we have hope through grace that covers all sin because Jesus is the perfect Adam.

Some of the deepest moments of my faith journey has been picking up a good read and letting the charcters inspire me. Christian Fiction or better yet Biblical fiction has a way of opening up our mind into what life MAY have been like back then.
