Spur One Another

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the day approaching." - Hebrews 10:24-25

How are you encouraging other today in their walk with Jesus?

Renewed, My All Time Favorite.

Today, we bring you Renewed.

Renewed is my absolute favorite one from this collection and for many reasons.  One, I love the fit of this new racerback tank.  It's long and flowy and not as low cut as last year's racerback tank.  So it works to wear to the gym, home with the kids, and out and about with the ladies.  Two, it has that same super soft comfy material.  You know, the one you melt into and snuggle up with... except this is a tank, you don't snuggle in tanks.  But you will leave the feel. Three, I LOVE this color and pairing it with my jackets or sweaters.  And lastly and most importantly, the power behind this verse.

"And to be renewed in the Spirit of your Minds,"

But let’s extend the passage.

But that is not the way you learned Christ!-  assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus,  to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires,  and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,  and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. - Eph. 4:20-24

The NLT translates to throw off your old self.  Like throwing your dirty clothes away.  You see when you make the decision to follow Jesus, a change happens.  Jesus simply isn’t added into your life, he becomes your new life.  There is a change in conduct, mind, a way of thinking.  There is quite simply a break with the past and we now our renewed with Jesus.  Living our new life with him. We go from knowing about Jesus to a life with Jesus.

From the time we say yes to Jesus we are made NEW; we are a new creation.  But it’s also a process.  An everyday process.  It’s a daily conscious commitment. But we have a helper in this commitment to follow Jesus.  When you say yes to Jesus, the Holy Spirit enters into your life and He now guides you in the ways to be like God - truly righteous and holy.

We pray as you wear this tank that you are reminded that you are renewed in Jesus, living in full light.

AND Today is our BIG PHOTOSHOOT for our Spring Line.  So follow us on Instagram and Facebook and see our behind the scenes!

Instead, Pray...

If you read our last blog post, you read that our "Give Back" opportunity with our Spring Line Launch is SoulFull. Here is a little snippet from their website:

"We believe that having a heart to care for others and having mercy on the poor and suffering is the same heart God has for His creation.  Yet many feel far from God's heart, and 'church' hasn't helped them feel any closer.

Whether you call yourself a 'church go-er' or not, 'Catholic', 'Lutheran', 'Baptist', or whatever, those who will feel most at home at Communitas are those that simply have a receptivity to learn more of who God is and a desire to be part of a community that serves the Twin Cities area.

Each time we get together, our goal is to grow spiritually.  Once or twice a month, we serve missionally around the community serving others at other times we get together and discuss the bible, pray and ask questions, seeking God."

This launch we will be donating $10 Bus Passes with each tee/tank that is sold.  So if you order 2 tees, we will donate 2 bus passes!  We feel God has given us an amazing opportunity at Six Notes and it's during these launches that we take a majority of our proceeds and give back.  We pray these moments are a true reflection on who we are as a brand.  We believe wearing God's word helps remind us, impact our actions and transforms our hearts.  We believe even more that serving and giving back reflects a heart for God.  We desire for God to be the absolute center of what we do here.  Serving is a very large part of that. So thank you for coming along side of us in serving those in need.

And as promised!  Here is another sneak into another t-shirt design...

More about Instead, Pray...

The Apostle Paul finishes his letter to his faithful Church in Philippi with a final exhortation. He’s urging the Philippians to fix their mind on the Lord.  For when we focus and fill our mind on higher things or Heavenly things we are not easily distracted with the little troubles in life.

And when those troubles come, we are not to be anxious.  To not be anxious is a command, not an option. We are to share our hearts with God. We are to pray about it all.  Nothing is off limits.

God wants our prayers. He desires communication with us. Even our petitions and supplications or simply said our requests or when we directly ask God to do something for us.  But let us not forget the command to do all with thanksgiving.  To do so with a thankful heart... no whining or complaining.

God is waiting for us to enter into a relationship with him.  Waiting for us to draw upon his name.  He wants to know what we need.  Yes he may already know, but he wants our participation.  Things change in us  when we spiritually and physically go to God with everything. Those big troubles become but little and the little fall by the wayside.

Our prayer as you wear this tee is that you are reminded to bring all you need to God and when you do you feel a peace fall upon you that surpasses all understanding.  For he is a great big Mighty God who cares over our every need.

Our Photoshoot for our Spring Line is Saturday, April21st!  We launch the new line shortly after.  Follow us on instragram and Facebook to get an insider look at our photoshoot.

Abundantly More Tee

Over the next few weeks, we will be previewing our 2018 Spring Line with you!  We are in love with this new line.  So many new verses and colors.  We think you are going to love it.  And to start off the preview, we give you one of our favorites.  Read the power of the verse below.

Abundantly More

These verses are a doxology or a prayer to praise our Father in Heaven. It is beyond powerful.  Think about it. Whatever you think, experience, imagine, or ask, God can do far more abundantly. And far more abundantly can’t even begin to display a language strong enough for the Apostle Paul to use.

This is such a great passage to remind us of the power of God.  Our God is great.  Greater than great.  And he is a God who cares and loves us deeply.  Just read the passage before this.  And the best news for us is this great power lives in us and is doing work in us.

Rely on Him for he can do beyond abundantly more than you can ever imagine or think.  His power, his love, his goodness is way beyond our comprehension.

And with all of our Line Launches, we do a Give Back.  This year we are excited to share with you about Communitas and their program SoulFull.  This organization hands out free lunches on Saturday when the Salvation Army is closed.  But they are much more than a meal service.  They seek to build relationships with this community, pray, engage in spiritual discussions, and meet the needs of the individuals as they arrive.  One of the greatest needs beyond warm clothing is bus passes.  And that's where we will come in!

With EACH ITEM (not just order), we will be giving these individuals a $10 Bus Pass!  That means if you buy 3 tops, 3 bus passes will be donated.

Bus passes are used to get to interviews, work, or grocery stores, often times they are used to stay warm during cold months, or they just want to escape the busy life and enjoy a nice quiet park.

We'll be sharing more about this organization over the next few weeks.  Until then, we pray God stirs in your hearts to give back in this way.  Wearing God's word reminds us and helps us feel His presence.  Now we get the chance to be a light to those in need.

Crown Of Life

"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." - James 1:12

I pray you find so much hope in this verse as you stand and face your trial.  Trials are not fun, they are not easy, they are confusing, they are tiring, quite simply they stink.  But when we endure, when we grab a hold of Jesus as we navigate, He promises us we will be glorified.  We are promised the crown of life.
