Six Notes Blog
Welcome to our Six Notes Blog. This is a place we’ll dive deeper into scripture and find guided prayers. We’ve put together spotify playlists, screensavers, and images to inspire and encourage. You can also find bible verses to reflect on, memorize and save. Our goal is to constantly connect right here with ways to deepen your faith and walk with Jesus.
There are many ways to connect with the Lord, get creative! God doesn’t care HOW you do it; He just desires you.
New Year, Same God
Each year we strive for changes, set goals, create intentions, try to be better. A new year can be invigorating or exhausting. Change can be fresh or intimidating. But maybe sometimes we need to let go and look to God to transform us, renew us. Maybe it’s less of what we do and more of who we look to.
Pray and meditate on this:
God vs. The Law - The Ladder Analogy
“Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,” - Romans 5:20
God vs. Law
In Romans 5 the Apostle Paul is writing about the need for the law to show where sin is, the need to know right and wrong. He also shares with us how sin came to be and that is through Adam. But we now have Jesus and with Jesus we have hope through grace that covers all sin because Jesus is the perfect Adam.
Encouragment to stay Steadfast
"Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.” - 1 Corinthians 15:58
In my study bible I read these words, “Paul says this because of the resurrection knowing that Christ has won the ultimately victory should affect the way we live right now. Don’t let discouragement over the apparent lack of results keep you from doing the work of the Lord enthusiastically as you have the opportunity.”
Renewed Morning Playlist
Renewed. To make new again.
Now that we have settled into the New Year and set our ‘word” or intentions for going forward, may we shift our Heavenly focus and take this time to be Renewed in Christ. Look back at the last year, cherish the joys and blessings, take it in and then shift our gaze to what 2023 looks like with Christ. Maybe last year was a beautiful year of growth. On the other hand, maybe it was a year of struggle and wilderness. Whatever it may have been, every year, month, and day is a new moment in time to decide to live a life bound to Christ living for him in this world.
God Uses The Unexpected
God chose the runt of the litter, to establish a lineage.
An old barren couple, to bring forth the prophet.
A virgin to birth the Savior.
Shepherds to share his birth.
Foreign wisement to show his royalty.
If you can remember anything this advent season, remember this, God uses the ordinary in extradinary ways.

Some of the deepest moments of my faith journey has been picking up a good read and letting the charcters inspire me. Christian Fiction or better yet Biblical fiction has a way of opening up our mind into what life MAY have been like back then.
