Welcome to our Six Notes Blog. This is a place we’ll dive deeper into scripture and find guided prayers. We’ve put together spotify playlists, screensavers, and images to inspire and encourage. You can also find bible verses to reflect on, memorize and save. Our goal is to constantly connect right here with ways to deepen your faith and walk with Jesus.
There are many ways to connect with the Lord, get creative! God doesn’t care HOW you do it; He just desires you.
Why so many blind people in Jesus' day?
Nothing earth shattering as far as information. Just clarity. It doesn’t change the gospel story yet adds to our understanding of culture back when Jesus walked the earth. We love when the bible can come alive. And information like this helps do just that.
Cursing of The Fig Tree
Remember in Mark 11:12 when Jesus is walking out of a Bethany, is hungry, sees a fig tree off in a distance, walks to it to eat, finds it is barren (had no figs) and then curses it? Which we find later to have withered from the root up in verse 20.
Importants of Mercy
Today, in my study it talked about Jacob and Esau. When it uses these two names it references the individuals and the nations as a whole. Jacob was a father of the Israelites and Esau the Edomites. In this passage Paul speaks to God’s sovereign choice to use Jacob the younger brother over Esau. It was His will. It was not the works of anything good or bad that the brothers (twins) did which is referenced in verse 11 but the will or election of God.
Focus on the Big
We know God is a God who cares about things big and small right? So let’s just put this out there right away. Especially remember this when we get to the end. But I was hit with this reading and commentary and wanted to share.
Change Someone’s World
I loved this quote from Andy Stanley that you see in the image below. It reminded me of what my pastor often talks about with the Ripple Effect. Our actions good and bad may only affect a small circle around us. But that small circle impacts more people and those people impact more people.

Pray this prayer before you begin. Yearn to study Him, getting to know Him verses what’s in it for us.

When life is a little dry and mundance, when we need a little inner motivation, when we just need something to pull us out of this rutt… prayer this prayer and rest in His goodness.
