You can also find bible verses to reflect on, memorize and save. Our goal is to constantly connect right here with ways to deepen your faith and walk with Jesus.
There are many ways to connect with the Lord, get creative! God doesn’t care HOW you do it; He just desires you.
Warning From James
I love reading the wisdom in the book of James. He has short little wisdom nuggets for us as we read throughout the whole book. His writings are less about theological information and more about how to challenge us in our daily living. He includes little one-liners and metaphors that are easy to remember and memorize.
Strength In Suffering
God strengthens us within the suffering, not by removing the trial but by being an ever-present help within it.
Bulrush in the Bible
The Bulrush a beautiful symbol of trust and faith in the Bible. The Bulrush was abundant in the land of Egypt found in the wetlands, specifically the shallow waters of the banks. They were very large, 12-15’ tall with stalks 2-3” in diameter. Many times the bulrush was called a reed or papyrus (for its later use of paper.) They also used parts of the bulrush for food from the root and for garments and shoes from the stalk because of how fibrous it was.
What is our identity?
This quote got me thinking…Where do I find my identity? Where do you find yours?
Maybe it’s time we revisit our core motivations. Our whys. Where do we find our worth?
Who really are we?
Do we have an eternal mindset?
Furnace of Life
The furnace. The trials. The hardships. Sometimes life just burns and squelches all possible energy and joy it can must up. But keep going. Keep putting one foot in front of the other. Why? Because those who believe in the Lord have a hope, even if at times it’s just a flicker of hope. But the hope remains.

Pray this prayer before you begin. Yearn to study Him, getting to know Him verses what’s in it for us.

When life is a little dry and mundance, when we need a little inner motivation, when we just need something to pull us out of this rutt… prayer this prayer and rest in His goodness.

Some of the deepest moments of my faith journey has been picking up a good read and letting the charcters inspire me. Christian Fiction or better yet Biblical fiction has a way of opening up our mind into what life MAY have been like back then.
